 @adamsilverstein hi, still investigating on this :) I'm not sure we can
 use `_.debounce` this way, all that's inside the function will be
 "debounced" including checks for `event.type`, `event.which` and other
 stuff we need to run on each user input. Maybe I'm missing something?
