 Sketchfab is a platform for publishing and sharing interactive 3D models
 on the web. Our player is fully HTML5 and WebGL based and requires no
 plugins. The service is free to use, we ask professionals to purchase a
 membership.

 before? Is it “mainstream?”**

 While I can't vouch for that, Sketchfab embeds are rapidly becoming more
 popular among news sites, social networks and all sorts of community
 sites.

 After a long process, Facebook accepted Sketchfab as the only interactive
 3D format on their platform. This included a thorough security scan:
