 Arrows would be good for quick adjustments from Pages, but I wonder if a
 dedicated sorting page where all pages are shown, or at least many more
 than the standard Page view.

 If only the title was shown along with less padding above and below the
 title, many more pages could be shown, and drag and drop might become more
 manageable. Perhaps arrows for moving up and down, along with arrow
 buttons for sending to the top or to the bottom.
