 How about having something that's built into core but, just like a lot of
 other things, is just an available option?  That way nobody is forced to
 do anything that they don't want to do, but every user has the ability to
 change the login URL and hide wp-admin with no redirects without having to
 install yet another plugin.  Giving them the ability to set their own
 chosen URL instead of a system generated one should, also, hopefully, make
 it much easier to remember, which would resolve the above stated concern
 about accidental lockouts due to forgetfulness.
