 Hi Ronnie,

I am trying to adjust the max vars setting in suhosin for wp_nav_menu
limit since an upgrade from php 5.3 to 5.4. It seems that suhosin is not
included in php 5.4 due to compatibility issues as suhosin will not
compile on this version of php. Sorry to sound thick but is your above
comment cover what issues I have? i.e. how to get round the wp_nav_menu
limit settings if suhosin is not installed?

 Thanks

Descendants as Submenu Items") and using them should be all you need to
do, regardless of the server or hosting environment your site is on.

Save the menu. Be sure to specify that menu as your theme's primary
 navigation menu.

new pages under existing top level menu items and in the desired order,
and you don't need to re-arrange or add to the top level pages, you should
never have to edit the top menu again.

menu items, of which only 19 are defined in the WP custom menu, and that
is not a problem for WP 3.8. My site has over 700 WP pages. So I have to
go even further and use the other plugins and processes I describe in my
earlier reply to build and display additional sidebar menus on applicable
pages. But unless you have a huge and complex site like mine, the simplest
solution is to use the two plugins I describe here.
