 Using 15677.2.patch:

 Installed r29573 and installed language to Korean, changed to English (UK)
 and went to WordPress updates to download the English (UK) translations.

 In the database `wp_options` after the language change:
 * `date_format` value remains `Y년 F j일`
 * `links_updated_date_format` remains `Y년 F j일 g:i a`

 Also a couple more data instances on the dashboard and Popular plugins

 And the category title `Uncategorized`, remains in Korean, though I think
 this particular item will be `wontfix` and as it is 'content' end user
 should rename any 'created' content.
