 In [attachment:25122.3.diff], `parents()` can probably be replaced with
 `closest()`, since in turns out to be faster (per the
 [https://irclogs.wordpress.org/chanlog.php?channel=wordpress-
 dev&day=2013-09-13&sort=asc#m687663 IRC discussion] for #25112).
