 A couple of options:

  1. Some kind of bootstrapping for images instead of loading them in a
 separate XHR
  1. Overwriting the editor's startContent

 Option 2. has the potential issue of a slow loading image updating the
 startContent after a user has made some actual modifications and stopping
 the navigation warning from appearing.
