 We have `set_time_limit( 300 )` (introduced in [9164] to prevent timeout
 issues) in `update_core()` and `WP_Upgrader::install_package()`: [[BR]]

 If that doesn't always help, not sure what else we can do. Seems like a
 configuration issue.
