Comment:

 The filter 'wp_image_editor_class' now only returns the chosen class name.
 Plugins have no way  in choosing another class if the path to the original
 image, or the mime type is not given.

 please change filter to
 $implementation = apply_filters( 'wp_image_editor_class',
 _wp_image_editor_choose( $args ), $args );
