Comment:

 We tried an intuitive new thing here and had it done early. It ended up
 not working well. That's not what we expected, but it's okay. We can try
 again. The autocomplete UI shows good progress. It's just too late to run
 with it now. ocean90 is right. Even two weeks ago, we were way too late to
 pivot here.

 I see the need to revert [22127] [22129] [22135] [22136] to accomplish
 this.
