the preview iframe when a user changes something?

A refresh is very slow by comparison to using postMessage to make instant
changes. Seconds instead of under a millisecond. It would be super slow
and annoying to have a color change take a few seconds for me to see the
effect, when I could just as easily cycle around and see the change in
 real-time.

As it is now, the theme has the choice of whether to use refresh (default,
works for everything) or postMessage (added on, only works for things that
the theme can re-implement in JS code).
