 after WordPress install a check box appears with a message to "Allow my
 site to appear in search engines like Google and Technorati."

 Technorati site is not so popular as Google, or Bing that are truly search
 engines... So please consider this small but intelligent decision to
 replace Technorati with Bing or Yahoo.
