 Talking to koopersmith has us thinking we might try for the borderless
 look again and work some spacing magic with the arrows to not lose the
 grouping in split buttons. See [comment:8 comment 8] and
 [attachment:18141.3.diff]. trepmal is going to take a stab for the moment.
