 Just for reference, I did come across a case of chromium doing some
 buffering up to 512 bytes before rendering.  It looks like this is for
 mime type sniffing.

 It seems like this is a known issue in the ajax handler, which sends the X
 -Content-Type-Options: nosniff header.
