 Unfortunately that will limit the users. Forcing `http://` to the front of
 everything entered there is not a good idea. What if the link is to a
 secure web site (`https://`) or the user enters a relative URL?

 Actually don't see this. In both FF and WebKit (win7) all entered URLs
 remain unchanged.
