 Assuming I never want to change my menu by adding new items in various
 positions.  That's the "first pass."

 I'm trying to think of it in a way that would be more usable and familiar
 for my theme users because menu management is something I have to deal
 with every day via theme support.

 I can also foresee quite a bit of accidental clicking of items, which get
 added to the menu unnecessarily.
