 The permalinks seem to work as selected but always show as 'Custom' being
 selected, not the one I chose, i.e. "Month and name' or 'Day and name'.
 They work on site and show up in the correct format within that 'Custom'
 text input.

 Using beta 3.0-beta-1
 Network setup in a folder on a subdomain as main site:

 http://subdomain.domain.com/mainsite/
