Comment:

 Could you provide some more details on your setup?

 PHP Version for a start, Safe mode?

 Do the files actually get written to the uploads folder? With or without
 the file extension, Are we talking .jpg? Or another type of file, or all
 files?

 Is it, Or is it not, uploading to the right folder? If not, Where is it
 writing them to?

 Does turning off "Sort into year/month folders" help? (Options -> Misc. i
 think)

 Is the uploads folder chmod'd 777 or something else?

 Component: I meant to set it to upload, must've scrolled the mouse..

 Milestone: Setting to 3.0 until a cause is found and/or a patch
