 And mine is certainly not the first, but probably the simplest.  What I'd
 like everyone to consider is that the bells and whistles, things like
 custom slugs, external links, widgets, hit counting, 3rd-party options,
 those can and should all be in the domain of themes and plugins.  But
 shouldn't they all have a common hook to build on?
