 The qTranslate plugin author has asked me to forward this issue to WP dev.

 in wp-includes/taxonomy.php function wp_get_object_terms()

 find

 {{{
    return $terms;
 }}}

 replace with

 {{{
    $terms = apply_filters('wp_get_object_terms', $terms);
    return $terms;
 }}}
