Comment:

 I have rolled back to 2.6.5 and the problem persists.  I wiped the record,
 still got issue.  Not clear what this was, may have gotten past it at this
 point -- might have been something in my posting code that caused a hiccup
 in the WP code.  Don't know.

 Please disregard.  Sorry for the trouble.
