 WordPress Post Editor (edit-post.php / new-post.php) should allow for
 plugins to modify the terminology of "Post" when it comes to words on the
 page. This could allow for custom content types to utilize the Post Editor
 and less work to be done having to manually synchronize the WordPress
 files with the plugin files to keep current with functionality of the Post
 Editor from version to version. This is currently hard coded without a way
 to modify other than pulling the file contents and regex-ing the spots
 that need terminology modification.
