 Well, The wp-content folder could be ignored entirely, The Plugin upgrader
 can be used to upgrade the plugins, Akismet is usually at the latest
 version on peoples installs now (if they use it) thanks to the Automatic
 plugin upgrades. Maybe an option for upgrading default themes and plugins
 should be provided?

 Glad to see most of the plugin upgrader's code could be reused, Its a
 shame its' being duplicated so much though, Once this is a bit smoother, I
 might look into moving some of the functionality into some functions (ie.
 checking for filesystem access)
