[wp-testers] WordPress related Emails Not Sending

I would guess that this isn't a WordPress problem.

I've had similar myself in the past - if the server hosting the website is also configured to host email for the same domain, then the server will attempt to deal with the email locally and it will never go out to the Google system.  If this is the cause, then disabling mail handling for the domain on your server should fix it.

This is a guess based on the information you give, but it's worth checking.
