[wp-testers] Whats up with the legacy 2.0 branch?

WordPress regularly includes its own functionality, which makes certain  
plugins out of date.. Quite often those plugins authors continue to  
support the plugin, in the thought that its functionality is better than  
core (Which it sometimes is to certain users)..

I'm not sure how WordPress can "Sync" itself with plugins though..
If you can explain it so i understand what you mean, I can bring it up at  
the weekly developer IRC meet (Wed 1900 UTC  
irc://irc.freenode.net/#wordpress-dev from the top of my head)..
