DASHBOARD

1. I was just coming here to see if anybody else had mentioned the
missing "Right Now" section and I'm glad to see that you have. I too
think it would be a shame to loose the "Right Now" section because it is
one of the nice and colorful features that makes usability super obvious
for new users.

2. The so called crippled quick publishing box interests me. Maybe
this could be the new "Right Now" section if we did it right.

Imagine something tab driven. You could toggle between "quick post" and
"quick page" and if there were plugin hooks for us plugin developers
then we could add other "quick" things.

Perhaps "quick press" is right crippled now but that does not mean it
needs to stay crippled. It could be very powerful and save us all lots
of clicks. How hard would it be to add tabs and tinyMC?

3. Sheesh I used to mock Drupal for having vert nav. And now here I am
eating my words. I'm not saying anything else about it until I see the
next revision... but my money goes to doing whatever Apple do.. Steve
doesn't employ the best designers in the world without a reason 8-)
