[wp-testers] how do I know if I upgraded

You shouldnt need to manually access the upgrade script.

To me, It sounds like either you didnt fully install 2.7, ie. either you  
upgraded something else (it happens!) or you only partially uploaded the  
files.
I'd try again, and see what happens
