[wp-testers] wp-images folder deleted by update-core.php

Yup, I took a look after submitting my question, sorry :)

I'd be in favor of leaving /wp-images alone for the time being, as it
is more of user-managed directory than others, and thus a potentially
more dangerous delete.
At least leave it alone for 2.7 (simply remove line 127, and maybe
including some sort of checkbox-message in 2.8:
"Updating should delete the following file/folders. You may choose not
to by unchecking the boxes below".
