[wp-testers] when switching to visual editor from HTML editor, all layout is discarded

Glad to hear that you have been able to verify my findings. The
installation was completely fresh, in a completely new directory, not
overwriting an existing installation.

I should have considered the WPG2 plugin as the source of the problems
earlier, because if I remember correctly the strange behavior started
after I used WPG2 to place links to my photos in my Gallery2
installation in my post.

Now that you have disabled and re-enabled WPG2 the problem is gone, but
if I'd try to add some photos in my Gallery2 to the post again with
WPG2, maybe I could reproduce the bug again. 

So the conclusion is that I probably have to downgrade to WP 2.3 to be
able to use WPG2 correctly. Unless the WP developers want to investigate
this further, I'm going to downgrade to 2.3 soon.
