Google Gears is not compatible with 3.0.1.

Now guess when 3.0.1 is tentatively scheduled to be released?

3.0.1 may very well be a mandatory update for Firefox 2 users as well.

And it's not Firefox's problem...

...it's Google's problem.

Now guess which browser is used by nearly all WordPress users in order 
to administer their WP install?
