Yes, really crappy comparison, as my email address is displayed and
linked in the clear on my own webpage. Email address obfuscation is
pointless and dumb. You can't solve "spam" by hiding information.

I don't see how disclosure of the usernames or versions is a privacy
issue. Knowing the usernames/versions doesn't give anybody anything
useful.
