[wp-testers] Can home.php and blog.php coexist these days?

I noticed that the Pages Codex page - http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages -
says:

"As noted above, the home.php file is not needed in versions 2.1+. If both
the blog.php and home.php files are deployed in 2.1+ they will conflict and
cause the blog.php templated page to appear blank."

I've just tested this on 2.5, and they seem to happily play together.

Has this been fixed?
