We have a 2.2.3 security and bugfix release going out later today.
Packages are up on the release archive:

http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/

Please try out 2.2.3 and let us if it looks good enough for release.
In particular, click around the admin interface and make sure that the
menus are behaving properly and that you don't get any permission
issues.
