Thanks for the reference.

I haven't bothered with widgets (should I?). Basically, I've been muddling
through this since the first of the year (see macnightowl.com for the site
we use WP on). My Webmaster took a one month hiatus around Christmas and
hasn't returned since, so I struggle with making this stuff work, keeping
everything up to date and enduring a Web hosting switch.

I also ask plug-in programmers, from time to time, to assist. But if there's
a good reason to add widgets without starving the resources of a shared
server, I'm game.
