Hi,

I think filenames are excessively sanitized through sanitize_title_with_dashes() function. It is true that most nonalphanumeric characters are unneccessary, but I cannot agree that stripping dots out of filenames is a good approach. This way if you upload 'something.tar.gz' file, you receive 'somethingtar.gz', which is not exactly the same thing.
