[wp-testers] Problem with roles

Hi all

In my install of WP2.1 I use the Role manager plugin to assign  
special privileges for users. I recently built a site witch will  
feature quite a few contributors with separate logins. Therefore I  
created a new role with the plugin that had all the right privs.

So far so good.

But now I see that none of the users that has been assigned a role  
I've created show up in the author pull-down menu in the Manage->post  
panel. I can't see the users in the panel for the Draft control  
plugin or the Post control plugin ether.

If I assign the users the Contributor standard role and then change  
the capabilities I see the users in the author list.

After cheking the info in $wpdb->usermeta the only change I can see  
is the name of the role in the wp_capabilities meta_value.

Is this a bug I've come upon, perhaps? If so, can I in some way solve  
it so that I can see all users in the author list?
