It should be officially announced soon.  We were waiting to get some
extra hardware for wordpress.org before announcing another release.
tyner.wordpress.org is now ready to go (name that Jazz musician).

We already shipped off 2.0.8 to the Debian folks so they could get it
into the Debian stable release train.  You can go ahead and grab 2.0.8
now if you like.  It's final.
