[wp-testers] Numeric Permalinks

Hi,

I don't know if this is a known bug or whether I just stumbled upon it.

If supposing you select Numeric Based Permalink Structure, i.e.
/archives/%post_id%

And if you already have a page with a post-slug *archives*, then the page is
always displayed no matter what.

Even /archives/%post_id%/ causes the same behavior.

I have tested this on 2.1 blog. However, one of the users of my theme faced
this on his 2.0.4 blog.

However, what I have realized is that a structure like
/archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ has been working for me on my
2.0.4 blog.

Any thoughts on this?

Ajay
