Hi I tried both of the suggested .htaccess replacements and both of them give me a 500 internal server error. Of course I've tried rebuilding the permalinks in the wp options etc so I'm back to step 1. I have tested that Mod_rewrite works by using a very simple rewrite script so really I'm lost [this problem only occurs on this host]. Thanks Usayd
