I thought someone already fixed this in the latest revisions, as I saw
them working on it during the bughunt.

Well, there isn't really a reliable way to get it done. You could use
the svn shell commands to get the current revision (UNIX-like only) or
we would have to rely upon Matt and Ryan manually editing the revision
number in a file on every commit, which is more hassle than either of
them are likely willing to go through.
