[wp-testers] Keeping Up-to-date

I thought the same thing. Unfortunately, since there's really no  
centralized repository for plugins, right now it's up to each author  
to maintain this type of thing. I wrote a simple plugin called Plugin  
Update Server, which adds some very basic options for your plugins to  
poll a centralized server (your blog) to check for updates.

server/. Hope it's of use in some way.
