[wp-testers] problems installing wordpress-2006-02-22

I too have had similar problems installing WP on the latest version of 
Xampp.  I think it has something to do with Apache 2 or the latest PHP 
version.  I've found that everything works golden if you use Xampp v 
1.4.16 (the version before Apache 2).  But that of course results in 
some sacrifices to the software versions.  Hope that helps!
