Glad you checked, Michael, because I had not unchecked that from my profile.
I guess this begs the question as to why there is an option for this in the
Personal Options as well as the Options > Writing panel?

That said, now that I have my issue solved (Thanks, Michael) I am not able
to replicate the original problem documented in this thread.
