[wp-testers] I've broken email notices of comments posting

I'm using the current svn version on an unix host and email
notificaition of comments quit working at some point. I'm not sure where
to start looking for what I've done. I don't see anything in maillog,
and I should probably poke around in the code but if anyone has a quick
suggestion, I'd appreciate it.
