[wp-pro] Creating an Archives Page

I have an archives page on my site at www.grammarsource.com, but with my new
theme, it doesn't show anything. I can't remember how I created the archives
page when I did a long time ago, but today I tried adding this, <?php
wp_get_archives('type=monthly'); ?>, to call up the listings. It didn't
work. When I tried installing exec-php the plugin, it crashed my Plugin
Admin page, so I deleted it. Does anyone have a simple solution to showing
the archives listing on a page?
