[wp-pro] Homepage post display

I am wondering if there is such a plugin that can handle displaying posts like the news on the top left of http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/

It doesn't have to scroll however the idea that it displays the latest articles with thumbnails and a main image is great.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate that...
