Mequoda Group, a leading online publishing service company, needs an  
experienced WordPress Programmer to build, maintain and manage  
Mequoda Online Publishing Systems for our prestigious group of book,  
magazine and newsletters publishing clients.  The Mequoda Online  
Publishing System uses a variety of open source programs and  
application service providers to provide each special-interest user  
community with email newsletters, a daily blog, RSS feeds, and online  
shopping for digital and physical branded information products.


You will be part of a dynamic team that includes top information  
architects, editors, researchers, journalists, copywriters, direct  
marketers and usability experts.

special-interest book, magazine and newsletter brands.



Responsibilities include:

Significant experience developing WordPress plugins.
Experience integrating WordPress with other systems (email services,  
fulfillment systems, e-commerce).
Thorough knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Good knowledge of Javascript, XHTML, and CSS layout.
WordPress theme design capabilities a bonus.


Candidates will be considered for Contract or Full Time positions.
Ability to work remotely.
