[wp-pro] Any Australian Developers - preferable but ...?? Experienced professional needed - Budget over $3000

Hi Guys/Gals,

 

Preferably after an experienced Australian Wordpress developer for a
customised Subscription/Membership News/Research based WP site. Not sure how
many are out there so I will bow to your experience level if you are from
elsewhere. Not being rude but we are all busy in life. If you can not
demonstrate experience by showing me at least 10 Wordpress websites you have
developed yourself, then it is simply not worth applying as I want to
concentrate on companies/people who can demonstrate experience needed to
complete this job. You will need to show me projects you have done that are
a membership based with a subscription module attached.

 

I have had a few people wanting to do it and agreeing to terms etc and then
just don't get back to me. So I am not sure if some of the stuff I am
wanting to do can be done with Wordpress or not. Everyone says it can but
maybe not ... and gets put in the too hard basket.

 

Key Features are:

 

* The site will be a cross between http://www.abconline.net.au/news/ and the
www.plugger.com.au website.

* We currently have an WP internal website for our sales staff and want to
expand it to the general public and ofcourse make some moulah from it. It
currently gathers (manually) news articles and topics from relevant news and
industry related services that this website will be focusing on. At the
moment these stories are found, collected and entered manually by one of our
staff. If some of these gathering tasks can be automated utilising news and
rss feeds and implemented into a moderation system where we can select which
stories go to air even better.

* Will be paid membership based so need to get a paid subscription plugin
controlling permission levels etc. Free Trial, monthly paid. (Will need to
integrate with www.eway.com.au . XML based, should be easy I can help with
this as use it in other sites)

* New Template (Looking for a core developer so if you need to outsource the
template design to fit around the architecture we produce thats fine. The
structure is the main thing I am looking for at the moment)

* email management system. Emails sent to subscribers of certain posts,
tags, topics. Needs to be as much user control as possible like how many
sent per day, week etc. Cron job driven probably??

* Like for example how the abc
http://www.abconline.net.au/news/stories/2008/06/18/2277965.htm uses its hot
tags and tags in general to add to a users "My Tags". These "My Tags"
probably will control the email alerts?

* Also like how http://www.plugger.com.au/news/?search_state=
<http://www.plugger.com.au/news/?search_state=&search_name=mount+waverley>
&search_name=mount+waverley displays a news source image so you know where
the story came from and the rating system. An emotion rating would be good
and/or just a star system will suffice.

If you know of another platform that would handle these tasks better than
