[wp-pro] need 2.3x developer to set up admin pages to collect, display & use subscriber info

Hello
I am working on a site where we'd like to have folks subscribe and 
provide their "interests" (relative to the site)... such as receiving a 
newsletter, email alerts, where they heard about the site, etc

I started by using the wp_user_manager plugin to put fields in the 
subscribe and user profile pages (marginally works as expected, though 
limited in some ways)...

what I am looking to do is to:

1) use this (or replace with something better)
2) have some admin pages where the data can be sorted for use in sending 
emails (by zip code, by "interest" checkboxes, etc) for those who 
indicate they want them
3) set up a newsletter with opt-in/opt-out functions that tap into the 
existing registration functions. (have investigated the wp_newsletter 
plugin... anyone using this?)

I am developing this on a subdomain of my site and plan to move it to 
another domain when ready... the problem is that an existing site at 
that domain is in use and has to remain in use until the switch. I 
typically don't have problems developing this way, but I realize that 
queries and email functions could require more effort to change than 
just a typical WordPress domain move.

This project would be an immediate need with future development possible 
(likely), as well.
